Perfect

Perfect for hiking/ cross country skiing. I usually start off with cold hands so wear the wind/mitt cover. As I warm up I have the option to take it off and end up with just the glove part.

They are decently warm

Decently warm but no etip which is a big drawback

Appreciated versatility

These gloves have a good amount of insulation for high output activity like XC skiing — warm but not too much. I especially love the versatility of having the wind cover. I usually start with the cover on and when I warm up on a ski I tuck the cover away. I plan to use these for bike commuting in the early spring/late fall when the temps are too cool for my light cycling gloves.
