Description
With a durable Ripstop outershell and RDS certified goose down fill, the Little Goose is the perfect choice for kids playing in the snow as it is one of our warmest mitts. The waterproof insert and ribbed cuff will keep snow out and keep them warm.
Warmth Level 5
Level 1: For when temperatures start to dip and your hands need a little warmth. This warmth level is for models that are lightweight, versatile and can be used to add an extra layer inside the gloves or to be worn as is at the start of the season.
Level 2: This warmth level is for when winter has started or nearing its end but the weather is still cold enough to head to the slopes. It will keep your hands dry and warm in these conditions.
Level 3: When the days get chillier and the wind is stronger, this warmth level is best if your hands are not used to dealing with the cold. Ideal for any winter activity, from skiing to touring.
Level 4: Models with this warmth level are often made with PrimaLoft or 3M Thinsulate and are designed for when winter conditions are not favorable. Perfect choice to practice your favorite winter sports while keeping your hands nice and toasty
Level 5: Often made of down insulation, these models are very warm, sometimes even too warm for many. This is perfect for extremely cold days where intense winter sports activities are practiced at a minimum as the hands can heavily perspire.

Amanda V I bought two pairs of these mitts, both in size small for our tiny 7 year old son and average-sized 5 year old daughter. I bought them for a BC ski trip with an extreme weather alert of -18 to -24 temps. Although the mitts are still a bit big on our kids, they never complained of cold hands. I had packed a thinner version of a fuzzy mitt to go underneath on the cold days, but neither liked the feeling, so I used hand warms on the really cold days. In general for mitts for our daughter, I wish there was more colour selection than hot pink (subtle purple would be nice), but I appreciate there was some blue on them. Overall, super happy with the Auclair brand to keep our kids' hands warm when they previously cried of cold fingers (also bought the Max Parrot Stoked Camo Mitt leather mitts for our son and really happy with them!).
